UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures

For more than 50 years, the UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures has sought to define what ‘Texan’ means by giving voice to the experiences of people from across the globe who call Texas home.

The ITC showcases the uniqueness and beauty of the many cultures that comprise Texas and displays the contributions those cultures have made to the state’s character, through music and dance, food, stories and traditions, religion, artisan skills and ways of life.

No matter the size, every gift is important and directly helps the ITC provide exhibits, programs, and special events to a statewide audience designed to entertain, inspire, and educate.
