The Social Architecture of Work
Who we know and how we relate to one another shapes what we can do more than most of us realize. This session draws on research in organizational behavior, economics, and management science to examine how interpersonal relationships influence performance, opportunity, and career outcomes. The picture is not a simple one. Strong relationships build trust, transfer knowledge, and create the conditions for people to do their best work, but they also concentrate power, distort incentives, and when they break down, exact a real human cost. Join us to explore what the science tells us, and what it means for how you lead, collaborate, and perform.
